Summary
The composition of construction waste is very complex. The primary goal of previous treatment methods is to reduce the volume and make it harmless, and to reduce landfill pollution, so it does not seem to be "resource-oriented" enough.
The composition of construction waste is very complex. The primary goal of previous treatment methods is to reduce the volume, make it harmless, and reduce landfill pollution, so it does not seem "resource-oriented" enough.
Zhongshan Minde Environmental Protection project has explored new ways to recycle flammable light substances with high content in decoration waste in Guangdong. After years of solid waste market research, Minde Environmental Protection has built a comprehensive treatment system center for "recycling, harmlessness, and reduction" of construction waste, and it will be officially put into operation in early 2024, with a production capacity of 200 tons/day.
The system adopts HARDEN's comprehensive treatment plan for preparing RDF/SRF alternative fuel from construction waste. It has carried out more in-depth technological innovation and performance optimization around the combustible waste in the construction waste, so that the RDF/SRF can be used in comparison with traditional treatment solutions, the discharge size and degree of homogenization are greatly improved, with fewer harmful elements and a lower heat loss coefficient when burned in the kiln, which is more in line with the needs of various coal-fired industrial kilns.
Light combustibles such as wood, foam, plastic, film, and paper in decoration waste can be prepared into RDF/SRF alternative fuels and then sold to industrial kilns such as power plants and cement plants to replace traditional fuels (such as coal, etc.), with lower comprehensive cost and lower carbon emissions, it is one of the new energy sources favored by coal-fired enterprises in recent years.
HARDEN-Construction Waste RDF/SRF Preparation System, following the principle of "reduction, resource utilization, and harmlessness" of waste-free city construction, has added certain economic benefits to decoration waste treatment companies and formed a new ecology of low-carbon environmental protection and economic development that is a win-win situation.
